John Johnson, the son of Solomon and Elinor (Johnson). He was born about 1629 in England. He was a proprietor in 1657 in Marlborough, Massachusetts. They settled in Marlborough where John was one of the early pioneers. He was one of those who met to make arrangements to meet with King Phillip's warriors in 1675. On 1 October 1675, his home was designated a garrison house in Marlborugh. He became a freeman in 1690 in Marlborough, Massachusetts. He died on Thursday 4 May 1713 in Marlborough, Massachusetts.
