On 23 September 1651 William, married first, Mary Eddington,, daughter of Edmund Eddington, in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts. The marriage date was recorded as 23 (7) 1651. They had three children: Mary, born 16 May 1652 and died at three months; John, born 14 December 1653; and William, born 19 October 1655.1,2 William's estate was inventoried on 17 June 1679 in Concord, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.
