Robert Drouin. He was born on 6 August 1607 in St-Barthélemi, Le Pin-la-Garenne, Mortagne-au-Perche, Normandie, France. He was a brickmaker. He was living in 1636 in Beauport, Québec, Canada. The marriage contract between Anne Cloutier and Robert Drouin, was signed when she was ten and a half years old, but it stipulated that she remain at the home of her father until she was thirteen. Thus, for the first two years of their marriage, Robert was limited to non-conjugal visits. After Anne's death, a contract for the marriage of Robert and Marie Chapelier was signed on 26 November 1649 in Québec City, Québec, Canada, drawn up by notary Audouart. Marie signed the contract, but Robert could not. On 29 November 1649 Robert, at age 42, married Marie Chapelier, in Québec City, Québec, Canada. He died on Friday 1 June 1685 in Château-Richer, Québec, Canada. He was buried on 1 June 1685 in Château-Richer, Québec, Canada.
