    Link to Google MapsMarried - John Hoyt, the son of Sgt. John and Frances Hoyt. He was born about 1638 in England. John was a farmer and a carpenter. He received land in Amesbury in 1658 and 1666. In 1659, he was taxed. He took the oath of fidelity 20 December 1677. From 1667 to 1669, he kept an ordinary for Amesbury and was a member of the training band in 1680. He was killed on 13 August 1696 on the Haverhill Road, Andover, Massachusetts by Indians. His estate was administered 9 August 1697. Issue: 1. William Hoyt (1660-____) 2.
