  Deacon Samuel Thompson, the son of the Rev. William and Abigial Thompson. He was born in 1631 in Lancashire, England. After Sarah's death, on 4 October 1680 Samuel, married Elizabeth Billings. He died on Saturday 18 June 1695 in Braintree, Massachusetts, at age 64 years. He was buried in Quincy, Massachusetts.
