Margaret Dolores Sahr was born on 9 September 1897 at Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio.1,2,3 She was the daughter of Albert M. Sahr and Margaret Elizabeth Merdian. Margaret, age 13, appeared on the US Census of 1910 living at Ralanning Pike, O'Hara Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania,in the household of her parents, Albert M. and Margaret Elizabeth Sahr.4 Her married name was Stein.
Margaret Dolores Sahr married William George Stein, son of Henry "Harry" Stein and Bernadine Wiethorn.
Margaret, age 22 years, and William, age 26 years, appeared on the US Census of 1920 on North Canal Street, Sharpsburg, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.6 Margaret, age 32 years, and William, age 36 years, appeared on the US Census of 1930 on Middle Road, Indiana, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.5 On 19 February 1934, when William filed his Veteran's Compensation Application, Margaret and William lived at Deer Creek Road, Glenshaw, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.7 Margaret Dolores Sahr died on 20 May 1934 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, at age 36 from peritonitis caused by an incomplete abortion.2,3,8
