Gertrude, age 5, appeared on the US Census of 1910 living at Ralanning Pike, O'Hara Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania,in the household of her parents, Albert M. and Margaret Elizabeth Sahr.4 Gertrude, age 15, appeared on the US Census of 1920 living at 208 Singer Avenue, McKees Rocks, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania,in the household of her parents, Albert M. and Margaret Elizabeth Sahr. She was a saleslady in a department store.5 According to the Federal Census in 1920, Gertrude was a saleslady in a department store.5 Her married name was Henley.

Gertrude Elizabeth Sahr married William Clement Henley, son of Richard J. Henley and Hannah (Johanna) Patt.
