Conrad I ~ Count in the Argengau and the Linzgau was born circa 800.1 He was the son of Welf I ~ Duke of Bavaria, Count in the Entgau and Egilwich , Abbess of Challes. Conrad I's full titles were Count in the Argengau and in the Linzgau; the Count of Auxerre; and Lay Abbot of St. Germain d'Auxerre in 805.1
Conrad I ~ Count in the Argengau and the Linzgau married Adelaide of Alsace and Tours, daughter of Hugh II le Méfiant ~ Comte de Tours and Aba.1 Conrad I ~ Count in the Argengau and the Linzgau died on 21 September 862.1,2
