Joseph Regis Myers was born on 17 June 1909 at Latrobe, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.1,2,3,4
He was the son of Joseph Lucas Myers and Anna Isabelle Geiger. Joseph, age 10 months, appeared on the US Census of 1910 living at 335 Spring Street, Latrobe, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania,in the household of his parents, Joseph Lucas and Anna Isabelle Myers.5 Joseph, age 10, appeared on the US Census of 1920 living at 333 Spring Street, Latrobe, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania,in the household of his parents, Joseph Lucas and Anna Isabelle Myers.6 Joseph, age 20, appeared on the US Census of 1930 living at 335 Spring Street, Latrobe, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania,in the household of his parents, Joseph Lucas and Anna Isabelle Myers.7 Joseph, age 30 years, appeared on the US Census of 1940 at 497 N. Heights Avenue, Lowellville, Mahoning County, Ohio.8 According to the Federal Census in 1940, Joseph was a stock room clerk.8 On on 16 October 1940, Joseph registered for the World War II draft, while living at 497 N. Heights Avenue, Lowellville, Mahoning County, Ohio. He gave his age as 31 and his employer as the Sharon Steel Corporation.4
Joseph, age 40 years, appeared on the US Census of 1950 at 479 Steward Road, Lowellville, Mahoning County, Ohio, rooming with the Masters family.9 According to the Federal Census in 1950, Joseph was the chief stock room clerk for a steel company.9 In 1979, the year Joseph died, he lived at Lowellville, Mahoning County, Ohio.1,2 Joseph died on 22 December 1979 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Youngstown, Mahoning County, Ohio, at age 70. He never married.1,10,2 Joseph's obituary of 24 December 1979, reads:
Joseph Regis Myers, 70, of Lowellville, Ohio, died Saturday in St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Ohio.
He was born in Latrobe, June 11, 1909, son of the late Joseph and Anna Geigen Myers.
He is survived by four brothers, Paul, Youngstown, Ohio, Raymond of North Wales, and Wilham and James of Latrobe; one sister, Mrs. Chester (Madeline) Ludwig, Latrobe.
He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister

He was born in Latrobe, June 11, 1909, son of the late Joseph and Anna Geigen Myers.
He is survived by four brothers, Paul, Youngstown, Ohio, Raymond of North Wales, and Wilham and James of Latrobe; one sister, Mrs. Chester (Madeline) Ludwig, Latrobe.
He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister
