Madeline Rosella Myers was born on 28 August 1916 at Latrobe, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.1,2,3 She was the daughter of Joseph Lucas Myers and Anna Isabelle Geiger. Madeline, age 3, appeared on the US Census of 1920 living at 333 Spring Street, Latrobe, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania,in the household of her parents, Joseph Lucas and Anna Isabelle Myers.4 Madeline, age 13, appeared on the US Census of 1930 living at 335 Spring Street, Latrobe, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania,in the household of her parents, Joseph Lucas and Anna Isabelle Myers.5 In 1935, Madeline graduated from Latrobe High School, Latrobe, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.6 Madeline, age 23, appeared on the US Census of 1940 living at 335 Spring Street, Latrobe, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania,in the household of her parents, Anna Isabelle and Geiger.7 According to the Federal Census in 1940, Madeline was a clerk.7 As of 24 February 1945,her married name was Ludwig.
Madeline Rosella Myers, age 28, married Chester Willard Ludwig, age 37 , son of Harry Ludwig and Elizabeth Sidway, on 24 February 1945 at the Cumberland, Allegheny County, Maryland.

Madeline, age 33 years, and Chester Ludwig, age 42 years, appeared on the US Census of 1950 at 30 Madison Street, Latrobe, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.8 When her brother, Joseph died, in December 1979, Madeline lived at Latrobe, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.9 When her brother, William died, in 1985, Madeline lived at Lloydsville, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.10 In 2005, the year Madeline died, she lived at Latrobe, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.1 She died on 5 January 2005 at the Latrobe Area Hospital, Latrobe, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, at age 88.2,1,3 Madeline's obituary of 6 January 2005, reads:

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Ludwig, in 1996; six brothers, Paul, James, Ray- mond, Charles, Joseph and William Myers, and a sister, Lib.
She is survived by her two sons, Dale A. Ludwig and his wife, Kathy, of Somerset and Barry E. Ludwig and his wife, Patricia, of New Alexandria; three grandchildren, Monica Wilson, Brian and Brenda Ludwig, and a great-granddaughter, Felicia.
Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Frederick Funeral Home Inc., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday in St. John the Evangelist Church, Latrobe, with the Rev. Thomas M. Lukac as celebrant.
Interment will be in St. Clair Cemetery near Greensburg.
