     Mary Elizabeth Geiger was born on 26 February 1873 at Latrobe, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.1,2,3 She was the daughter of William Francis Geiger and Barbara A. Thomas. Mary, age 7, appeared on the US Census of 1880 living at Unity Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania,in the household of her grandfather, Henry O. Geigerwith her parents.4 Mary Elizabeth Geiger and Henry J. Myers obtained a marriage license on 17 June 1895.5

Mary Elizabeth Geiger, age 22, married Henry J. Myers, age 29 , son of Lucas Myers and Mary Huffman, on 18 June 1895 at the Unity Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.

As of circa 1896,her married name was Myers. Mary, age 26 years, and Henry Myers, age 34 years, appeared on the US Census of 1900 at Latrobe, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.6 Mary, age 36 years, and Henry Myers, age 44 years, appeared on the US Census of 1910 at 321 Spring Street, Latrobe, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.7 Mary, age 46 years, and Henry Myers, age 54 years, appeared on the US Census of 1920 at 321 Spring Street, Latrobe, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.8 Mary, age 56 years, and Henry Myers, age 64 years, appeared on the US Census of 1930 at 321 Spring Street, Latrobe, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.9 Mary, age 66 years, appeared on the US Census of 1940 at 335 Spring Street, Latrobe, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.10 She died on 31 December 1959 at the Latrobe Hospital, Latrobe, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, at age 86 from urinmia.1,2,3 Mary's obituary of 2 January 1960, reads:

Mrs. Mary E. Myers, 86, 321 Spring St., Latrobe, widow of the late Henry J.

Myers, died at the Latrobe Hospital Thursday, Dec. 31, 1959.

She was born in Unity Township, Feb. 26, 1873, a daughter of the late William F. Geiger and Barbara Thomas. Geiger, Her husband died in 1939. She was a member of the Holy Family Church, the Rosary Society and the LCBA.

Surviving are three sons and one daughter, Leroy B., Mrs. Ann Derek, Henry J; J. Regis, all of Latrobe; one brother, James Geiger, Brooklyn, N. Y; 15 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren.

Friends will be received at her late home, 321. Spring St., and services will be conducted at the Holy Family Church at 9 a.m. Monday. Burial will be 0 in the St. Vincent Cemetery.

Ladies Catholic Benevolent Association will meet at the Myers home at 7:30 p.m. today to say the rosary for the late Mrs. Myers.
