     Saint Siegbert III ~ King of Austrasia was natural born between 630 and 631.1,2 He was the son of Dagobert I ~ King of the Neustrian Franks and Regintrude. Siegbert was crowned the King of Austrasia in December 633.1,2,3

Saint Siegbert III ~ King of Austrasia married Hymnegilde.1,2 Saint Siegbert III ~ King of Austrasia died on 1 February 656.1,2,3 He was buried at Abbey of Saint Martin, Metz, France, which he had founded. In 1063 his body, found incorrupt, was taken out of the tomb and moved to the side of the altar. The abbey was demolished in 1552 and the relics were moved to the Nancy Cathedral. Siegbert was canonized in 1170.2
