     David Blair Lindsay was born on 15 October 1854 at Hollidaysburg, Blair County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Robert Garber Lindsay and Catherine Gardner. David Blair Lindsayappeared on the US Census of 1880 in the household of Robert Garber Lindsay and Catherine Gardner at 60 Walnut Street, Hollidaysburg, Blair County, Pennsylvania.1 According to the Federal Census in 1880, David was a railroad clerk.1

David Blair Lindsay married Carrie Delano Carter, daughter of E. W. Carter and Correlia ______, in 1881.
