Guillaume Daragon was born on 24 December 1825 at Chambly, Lower Canada, British North America.1,2,3 He was the son of Joseph Daragon and Judith Dufresne.1 Guillaume Daragon was christened on 22 March 1826 in the Église de Saint-Joseph, Chambly, Lower Canada, British North America.1,2,4
Guillaume Daragon, age 16, married Marcelline Bonin, age 12 , daughter of François Bonin and Marie Lanier, on 23 February 1842 at the Église de Saint-Grégoire-le-Grand, Mont-Saint-Grégoire, Québec, Canada.
Guillaume Daragon and Marcelline Bonin immigrated in 1860.3 Guillaume Daragon anglicised his name to William Dragger after moving to Vermont. William, age 34 years, and Marcelline Dragger, age 29 years, appeared on the US Census of 1860 at Alburgh, Vermont.5 William, age 44 years, and Marcelline Dragger, age 39 years, appeared on the US Census of 1870 at Alburgh, Vermont. Marcelline's name is listed as "Louisa."6 William, age 74 years, and Marcelline Dragger, age 69 years, appeared on the US Census of 1900 at Alburg (now Alburgh), Vermont. Marcelline's name is listed as "Maggie."3 According to the Federal Census in 1900, William was a farm laborer.3 He died on 17 July 1903 at Danvers, Massachusetts, at age 77.2,7,8
Guillaume was buried on 18 July 1903 at Saint Mary's Cemetery, Salem, Massachusetts, in section 6, row 5, grave 11.2,7

Birth: The PRHD gives his birth date as 21 March 1826. Find-a-Grave gives it as 24 December 1825. The 1900 Census gives it as December 1825. I am going to use the Find-a-Grave date.
