Joseph Roi dit Audi was born on 23 September 1796 at Saint-Roch-de-l'Achigan, Lower Canada, British North America.2 He was christened on 24 September 1796 in the Église L'Assomption, Saint-Roch-de-l'Achigan, Lower Canada, British North America.2 He was the son of Joseph Roy and Josephté Demers.1
