Rosalie LaPorte

     Rosalie LaPorte was born on 26 August 1812 at Saint-Jacques, Lower Canada, British North America.^2,3 She was christened on 27 August 1812 in the Église St-Jacques-de-l'Achigan, Saint-Jacques, Lower Canada, British North America.² She was the daughter of Joseph LaPorte and Thérèse Racette.¹

Rosalie LaPorte, age 35, married Pierre Roy dit Audy, age 46 , son of Joseph Roy and Josephté Demers, on 15 August 1848 at the Église St-Jacques-de-l'Achigan, Saint-Jacques, Québec, Canada.



Rosalie, age 58 years, and Pierre Roy, age 68 years appeared on the Canadian Census of 1871 at Russell, Ontario, Canada.⁷ Rosalie LaPorte died on 7 January 1880 at Embrun, Ontario, Canada, at age 67.³ Rosalie was buried in the Saint Jacques Roman Catholic Cemetery, Embrun, Ontario, Canada.³
