     Bernard Roy was born on 20 August 1774 at L'Assomption, Québec, British North America.1 He was christened on 20 August 1774 in the Église L'Assomption-de-la-Ste-Vierge, L'Assomption, Québec, British North America.1 He was the son of Charles-Joseph Roy and Marie-Josephté Filion.1 Bernard was buried on 2 September 1776 at Église St-Charles-Borrromée, Lachenaie, Montréal, Québec, British North America.1
