Lovisa Dillingham Whitman was born on 3 February 1817 at Minot, Maine.1,2 She was the daughter of Amos Whitman and Wealthy Dillingham. As of 20 December 1838,her married name was Woodman.
Lovisa Dillingham Whitman, age 21, married Alvin Woodman, age 22 , son of Jacob Woodman and Hannah Hatch, on 20 December 1838 at Auburn, Maine. They had no children together.3,4,1,2 Lovisa Dillingham Whitman died on 12 June 1843 at Auburn, Maine, at age 26.1,2 Lovisa was buried at Briggs Cemetery, Auburn, Maine.1
