Hiram Elliot Woodman, age 22, married Julia A. Morrill, age 16 , daughter of Jedidiah Morrill Jr. and Lydia Briggs, on 20 November 1845 at Auburn, Maine.
In 1850 Hiram and Julia lived at Danville, Maine.2 Hiram, age 27, appeared on the US Census of 1850 living at Auburn, Maine,in the household of his parents, Jacob and Hannah Woodman.5 According to the Federal Census in 1850, Hiram was a joiner.5 Hiram, age 36 years, and Julia Woodman, age 30 years, appeared on the US Census of 1860 at Auburn, Maine.6 According to the Federal Census in 1860, Hiram was a carpenter.6 He was mentioned in the will of Alvina Woodman on 20 August 1861 at Auburn, Maine.7 In 1863, Hiram registered for the Civil War draft, while living at Auburn, Maine.8
Hiram wrote his will on 4 October 1865 at Auburn, Maine.7
He died on 5 October 1865 at Auburn, Maine, at age 42.3,4,9 Hiram was buried at Davis Cemetery, East Auburn, Maine.4,9 His estate was probated on 3 November 1865 at Androscoggin County, Maine.7
