     Daniel Flanders was born on 5 February 1737/38 at Salisbury, Massachusetts.2,1,3,4 He was the son of Jedidiah Flanders and Eleanor Barnard.1 He was a soldier in the French and Indian War.2,3 Daniel Flanders and Sarah Weed filed marriage intentions on 14 November 1761 at Amesbury, Massachusetts.1

Daniel Flanders, age 23, married Sarah Weed, age 19 , daughter of Ephraim Weed and Hannah Barnard, on 10 December 1761 at Amesbury, Massachusetts.

Daniel purchased land 2 Dececember 1771 in Hopkington, New Hampshire.1 Daniel served in the Continental Army in Capt. Moses Newell's Company, Col. Titcomb's Regiment in the Rhode Island campaign. Later, he enlisted in Captain John Hale's company, Col. Henry Gerrish's regiment as a sargent. He was discharged 25 October 1777.1,3 Daniel Flanders signed the Association Test in 1776.1,3 Daniel wrote his will on 13 April 1810 at Hopkinton, New Hampshire. He mentions his wife, Sarah, and his children, Molly, Timothy, and Moses.1 He died on 28 September 1817 at Hopkinton, New Hampshire, at age 79.1 His will was proved on 28 October 1817.1
