Lieutenant-General Michel Boudrot was born on 14 January 1601 at Église Notre-Dame-de-Cougnes, La Rochelle, Charente-Maritime, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France.1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 21 September 1639, Michel Boudrot is mentioned as one of the first syndics (government officials) at Port-Royal.11,8
Lieutenant-General Michel Boudrot married Madeleine-Michèle Aucoin, daughter of Martin Aucoin and Barbe Minguet, between 1640 and 1641 at the Église Notre-Dame-de-Cougnes, La Rochelle, Charente-Maritime, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France.1,12,4,6,7,8 Michel and Madeleine-Michèle immigrated circa 1642 to Acadia, New France, with Governor Aulney.12,7 Michel, age 71, and Madeleine-Michèle, age 53, appeared on the Census of 1671 at Port-Royal, Acadia, New France.12,7 20 July 1684, in his capacity as lieutenant général civil of criminel du Port-Royal caused an order of the King to be recorded in Claude Petitpas's registery.8,11 He was appointed Lieutenant-General of Port Royal and an Officer of Justice, empowered to pass judgment in civil and criminal cases in 1686.7,8 5 October 1687, he signed an attestation in favor of Governor d'Aulnay's accomplishments.8,11 On 20 August 1688, he gave up his post as lieutenant général as he was not in condition to carry out the functions of the poste owing to his great age.8,11 Lieutenant-General Michel Boudrot died on 18 December 1688 at Port-Royal, Acadia, New France, at age 87.12,6,7,10
