     Sylvain Boudreau was born circa 1768 at Restigouche County, Colony of Nova Scotia (now New Brunswick), British North America.1,2,3 He was the son of Joseph Boudrot and Marie-Jeanne Haché.

Sylvain Boudreau married Judith Blanchard, age 15 , daughter of Captain Oliver Blanchard and Catherine-Joséphe Amirault dite Mirau, on 4 April 1796 at the Caraquet, Gloucester County, New Brunswick, British North America.1,4,5,2 Sylvain, age 90, appeared on the Canadian Census of 1861 at Caraquet, Gloucester County, New Brunswick, British North America, in the household of his son and daughter-in-law, Jean-Louis and Romaine Boudreau.6 Sylvain Boudreau died on 31 March 1867 at Caraquet, Gloucester County, New Brunswick, British North America.1,2 He was buried on 30 April 1867 from the Église St-Pierre, Caraquet, New Brunswick, Canada.1,2
