Captain Samuel Lord was born on 14 June 1689 at Kittery, Massachusetts Bay Colony (Maine).2 He was the son of Deacon Nathan Lord and Martha Tozier.1
Captain Samuel Lord, age 21, married Martha Wentworth, age 26 , daughter of Paul Wentworth and Catherine Stewart, on 19 October 1710 at Kittery, Province of Massachusetts Bay (Maine).2 Samuel and Martha owned covenant at First Church of Berwick, Berwick, Province of Massachusetts Bay (Maine), on 11 May 1712 and Samuel was baptized at the same time.2 Samuel was admitted to full communion at First Church of Berwick, Berwick, Province of Massachusetts Bay (Maine), on 14 May 1721.2 Samuel was mentioned in the will of Deacon Nathan Lord on 6 July 1733 at Berwick, Province of Massachusetts Bay (Maine), and he was left 2½ acres of marsh at Sturgeon Creek.2 Samuel wrote his will on 23 February 1761 at Berwick, Province of Massachusetts Bay (Maine).2 He died in May 1762 at age 72.1 Samuel was buried in May 1762 at South Berwick, Province of Massachusetts Bay (Maine).2 His will was proved on 11 May 1762.2
