Moses Gleason was born on 22 December 1704 at Sherborn, Massachusetts.1,2 He was the son of Thomas Gleason and Mary Mellen. In 1735, Moses was appointed a constable at Oxford, Worcester County, Province of Massachusetts Bay.2
Moses Gleason, age 33, married Deborah Whittemore on 2 February 1738.
According to White (1909) "He was proprietor of the Augutteback Mills for 12 years."2 Moses's wife, Deborah, died on 10 February 1740.2
Moses Gleason married Experience Gleason, daughter of William Gleason.2 Between 1744 and 1754, Moses served as a Selectman at Oxford, Worcester County, Province of Massachusetts Bay.2 Moses's wife, Experience, died on 2 March 1751.2
