     Jean-Baptiste Lamy was christened on 29 July 1726 at Ste-Anne Paroisse, Yamachiche, Québec, New France.1 He was the son of Étienne Lamy and Marguerite Blais.1

Jean-Baptiste Lamy, age 26, married Marie Berthiaume, age 18 , daughter of André Berthiaume and Marie-Anne ______, on 8 January 1753 at Ste-Anne Paroisse, Yamachiche, Québec, New France.1

Jean-Baptiste married second on 18 August 1766 at Ste-Anne Paroisse, Yamachiche, Québec, British North America, Marie-Josèphe Gelinas, the daughter of Pierre Gelinas and Marie-Angélique Vacher. She was born and christened on 30 May 1747 at Ste-Anne Paroisse, Yamachiche, Québec, New France. She died 6 September 1786, and was buried the next day from St-Antoine-de-la-Rivière-du-Loup Paroisse, Louiseville, Québec, British North America.1 He died on 27 April 1798 at Louiseville, Lower Canada, British North America, at age 71.1 He was buried on 29 April 1798 at St-Antoine-de-la-Rivière-du-Loup Paroisse, Louiseville, Lower Canada, British North America.1
