John Marsh was named sole executor of his will, proved 1 June 1713.2 Onesiphorus Marsh was born circa 1630 at England.2 He was the son of George Marsh and Elizabeth Key.2
Onesiphorus married first on 6 February 1655, Hannah Cutler.2 He was admitted as a freeman in 1672 at Hingham, Plymouth Colony.2 Onesiphorusmoved to Haverhill, Massachusetts Bay Colony, circa 1674.2
Onesiphorus married second in 1686 Mrs. Elizabeth Parrott Worcester.2 In 1687, he was a constable.2 During the Indian attacks of 1690, the selectmen of Haverhill set up six garrisons and four "houses of refuge". One garrison, commanded by Sergt. John Hazeltine, was situated in a house and on land owned by Onesiphorus Marsh, the locality long known as Marsh's Hill. Onesiphorus Marsh and his son of the same name were among the seven men under Hazeltine's command.2
Onesiphorus Marsh married Sarah Travis, daughter of Henry Travis and Bridget ______, on 18 May 1691 at Haverhill, Massachusetts Bay Colony. They had no children together.1 Onesiphorus wrote his will on 21 August 1703.2 He died on 15 May 1713 at Bradford, Essex County, Province of Massachusetts Bay.2 Onesiphorus was buried at Pentucket Cemetery, Haverhill, Massachusetts.2
