     Loretta Sullivan was born in 1911 at St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador.1,2 She was the daughter of Captain Thomas Florence Sullivan and Honora Agnes Kavanaugh. Loretta was found on a passenger list arriving in Boston, Massachusetts, on 14 September 1922 on board the S.S. Sachem which had sailed from St. John's, Newfoundland the 9th of September 1922.2 Loretta, age 19, appeared on the US Census of 1930 living at 7116 Pennsylvania Avenue, Upper Darby Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania,in the household of her parents, Thomas Florence and Agnes Sullivan. She was a naturalized citizen.1 Loretta Sullivan died on 30 November 1937 at Graduate Hospital, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, from a brain tumor.3,4 Loretta's obituary of 2 December 1937, reads:

Miss Loretta Sullivan, Bell phone Company employee for the Tele:/ nine years, died Tuesday in Graduate Hospital following a short illness. She was 27.

Miss Sullivan was the daughter of Captain Thomas F. Sullivan, stevedoring company official in the Drexel Building. She had been employed in the commercial department of the 52d and Chestnut sts.office of the telephone company.

She was a graduate of West Catholic Girls' High School and Immaculata College. She was a of the Daughters of America.

Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Honora Sullivan; her father, and three brothers, Thomas F., Jr., Edmund and Girard. Solemn requiem mass will be held at 10 A. M. tomorrow in St. Laurence's Church, Highland Park. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
