     Abial Ellis was born on 15 October 1662. She was the daughter of Thomas Ellis and Mary Wight.

Abial Ellis, age 20, married Zachariah Barber, age 26 , son of Captain George Barber and Elizabeth Clark, on 30 August 1683. As of 30 August 1683,her married name was Barber. Abial Ellis died on 14 April 1716 at age 53.
