     Mary Julia Gallagher was born in August 1874 at New York State.1 She was the daughter of Francis Gallagher and Anna Elizabeth Donovan. Mary, age 2, appeared on the US Census of 1875 living at Binghamton, Broome County, New York,in the household of her parents, Francis and Anna Elizabeth Gallagher.2 Mary, age 7, appeared on the US Census of 1880 living at 145 Oak Street, Binghamton, Broome County, New York,in the household of her parents, Frank and Anna Elizabeth Gallagher.3 Mary, age 25, appeared on the US Census of 1900 living at 235 Oak Street, Binghamton, Broome County, New York,in the household of her parents, Frank and Anna Elizabeth Gallagher.1 According to the census in 1900, Mary was a milliner.1 As of 19 June 1901,her married name was Davin.4

Mary Julia Gallagher, age 26, married Dennis W. Davin, age 31 , son of Michael Davin and Margaret Delany, on 19 June 1901 at the Binghamton, Broome County, New York.
