Bridget Donovan

     Bridget Donovan was born in 1850 at Ireland.¹ She was the daughter of Malachy Donovan and Honora Murphy. Bridget Donovan immigrated with Malachy Donovan and Honora Donovan circa 1852 to the United States. Bridget, age 18, appeared on the New York State Census of 1865 living at Maine, Broome County, New York,in the household of her parents, Malachy and Honora Donovan.² Bridget, age 33, appeared on the US Census of 1880 living at Maine, Broome County, New York,in the household of her parents, Malachy and Honora Donovan.³ Bridget appeared on the US Census of 1910 living at 235 Oak Street, Binghamton, Broome County, New York,in the household of hersister, Anna Elizabeth Gallagher.¹ Bridget, age 65 years, and Anna, sisters, appeared on the New York State Census of 1915 at Binghamton, Broome County, New York.⁴ Bridget, age 70 years, and her sister, Anna, age 65 years, appeared on the US Census of 1920 on 235 Oak Street, Binghamton, Broome County, New York. Bridget was a widow.⁵
