George W. Clark Jr.

     George W. Clark Jr. was born on 2 February 1843 at Pennsylvania.^1,2 He was the son of George W. Clark and Margarette Emmitt. George, age 7, appeared on the US Census of 1850 living at Northern Liberties, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,in the household of his parents, George W. and Margarette Clark.¹ George, age 17, appeared on the US Census of 1860 living at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,in the household of his parents, George W. and Margarette Clark.³ George, age 28, appeared on the US Census of 1870 living at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,in the household of his mother, Margarette Clark.⁴ George was a house painter in 1880.⁵ George, age 66 years, appeared on the US Census of 1910 on 4326 Osage Avenue, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was a boarder with the Beck family.⁶ He died on 18 February 1920 at Philadelphia General Hospital, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at age 77 from chronic myocarditis.² George was buried on 20 February 1920 at Northwood Cemetery, West Oak Lane, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.²
