Gabriel Chiasson dit Pierre was born circa 1667 at Acadia, New France.1 He was the son of Guyon-Denis Chiasson dit Lavallée and Jeanne Bernard. In the 1686 US Census, Gabriel was recorded, age 20, living in Beaubassin, Acadia, New France. He was a servent for Michel Le Neuf de la Vallière.1
Gabriel Chiasson dit Pierre married Marie Savoie, daughter of François Savoie and Catherine Lejeune, circa 1688.1 Gabriel appeared on the US Census of 1693 at Les Mines, Acadia, New France. 26.1 Gabriel appeared on the US Census of 1700 at Beaubassin, Acadia, New France. 40.1 He died on 10 April 1741 at Beaubassin, Colony of Nova Scotia, British North America.1 He was buried on 11 April 1741 at Beaubassin, Colony of Nova Scotia, British North America.1
