Luitgarde von Saltzbach was born circa 1120 at Sulzbach-Rosenberg, Bavaria, Germany.1 She was the daughter of Berenger II , Count of Sultzbach and Adelaide von Wolfratshausen.
Luitgarde von Saltzbach married Godfrey II , Duke of Brabant and of Lower Lorraine, son of Godfrey I the Beareded of Brabant , Duke of Brabant and Lower Lorraine and Ida of Namur and Chiny, in 1139.1,2 Luitgarde von Saltzbach died after 1162.1
