John James Scully
     John James Scully was born on 21 September 1918 at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.1,2,3,4,5,6 He was the son of Paul Vincent Scully and Agnes M. O'Neil. John James Scully went by the nick-name of Jack. John, age 1, appeared on the US Census of 1920 living at 2525 West Carson Street, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania,in the household of his parents, Paul Vincent and Agnes M. Scully.7 John, age 11, appeared on the US Census of 1930 living at 2525 West Carson Street, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania,in the household of his parents, Pete and Agnes M. Scully.1 John, age 22, appeared on the US Census of 1940 living at 2319 Glen Mawr Avenu, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania,in the household of his parents, Pete and Agnes M. Scully.8 According to the Federal Census in 1940, John was a clerk.8 On on 16 October 1940, John registered for the World War II draft, while living at 2319 Glenmawr Avenue, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, giving his age as 22 and his employer as Quick Service Electric Company.6 He and Ann Kerely obtained a marriage license on 4 September 1944 at Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.4

John James Scully, age 26, married Ann Kerely, age 25 , daughter of Basil "Charles" Koroly and Bertha "Barbara" Geles, on 30 September 1944 at the Saint John Chrysostom Byzantine Catholic Church, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.2,9,4 John and Ann were divorced.2,9

John James Scully married Anna Catherine Sahr, daughter of Louis Leo Sahr and Elizabeth Eleanor Pschirer, circa 1951.

He was a member of Steam Fitters Local #449.2 He had a stroke in 1958 which left him a semi-invalid for 13 years.2,9 John died on 20 January 1971 at John J. Kane Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, at age 52 from bilateral bronchial pneumonia.2,3,9,5,10,11 John's obituary of 21 January 1971, reads:
