     John P. Scully was born on 2 June 1865 at Ontario, Canada.1,2,3,4 He was the son of Daniel Scully and Ellen McCormick. John P. Scully was christened on 17 June 1865 in the Ontario, Canada.4 John, age 5, appeared on the US Census of 1870 living at Temperanceville (now West End Villiage), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania,in the household of his parents, Daniel and Ellen Scully.5 John P. Scully died on 11 July 1897 at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, at age 32 from the hiccups.6,1,7,2,3 John was buried on 13 July 1897 at Saint Mary Catholic Cemetery, Lawrenceville, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
