• Immigration: 1655; After the war with Cromwell's England, English slave traders seized and shipped some 6400 Irish men, women, and children to English plantations in the West Indies and New England during a four year period ending in early 1655. In October 1655, another group of 2000 boys and girls were shipped from Galway. David was probably one of these children, as he first appears in Plymouth Colony in October 1655.

On 4 October 1655, he was recorded in Plymouth County as David O'Gillior the Irishman, servant to Edward Sturges. Prior to this, he had been the indentured servant to John Darby of Yarmouth. It appears that the indenture was transferred from Mr. Darby to Mr. Sturges.

In 1657, he was admitted as an inhabitant and took the Oath of Fidelity.

In 1676, he was taxed £2 6/9.

On 10 (2) 1692 [10 April 1692], he made his will. He calls himself David O'Kelia.

In 1697, his will was proved.

He died in the Spring.
