• Miscellaneous: 25 Jun 1640; When the first General Court of Maine was held in Saco, all adult males were supposed to appear. William was one of 15 men from Piscataqua (now Newington) that were absent.

• Legal: Oct 1647; In October 1647, she was arrested and sent to Boston probably for adultery with William James. She soon return, probably cleared. On 27 June 1648, the court ordered that "William James and William Wormwood are for to part household and for to build another house before on yeare be ended."
• Legal: 1650; On 15 October 1650, William James and William Wormwood's wife were presented for living suspiciously together and James was to separated upon pain of corporal punishment.
