Maenarch, Lord of Brecknock

Seaver (1931) leaves out a section of the line to Beli Mawr between Cariadoc Vrech, the Earl of Hereford and Meanarch, the Lord of Brecknock.

Name:
In Wales in that time Lord was the same as King. Maenarch was the ruler of the kingdom of Brycheiniog of which Tolgwith was the capital.

Maenarch married Elen about 1050 in Wales. Elen (daughter of Einion ap Selyf) died in Wales. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

1. Bleddyn ap Maenarch, Lord of Brecknock died in 1091 in Y Gaer, Breconshire, Wales.
