    • History: Apr 1777; Israel Hill published the following: "Whereas Beriah, the wife of me the subscriber, has wickedly and notoriously kept company and cohabited with one Joseph Latham, and has sold many articles of her wearing apparel &c. and has threatened to destroy all my interests: These are therefore to forbid all persons purchasing any thing of her, or crediting her on my account, for I will not pay any debt of her contracting or suffer any [bargin?] of hers to stand.     • Estate Admin: 9 Jul 1778, Oakham, Worcester County, Massachusetts; Notice of her appointment as administratrix was published July 9, 1778, and on July 29 his estate was sold at auction, consisting of between five and seven acres of land lying on the county road from Rutland to Hardwick, with a dwelling house and a frame for a blacksmith shop. He had also one pair of blacksmith's bellows, a sledge, vise, tongs, and shop tools.
