    • Complier's Note: 2011; Hi Robert. I have some additional information on Hester Trott although I'm not sure how helpful it will be! I'm quite confused! You have Hester as marrying 1. Bernard Hyde and then a William Hyde and moving to, and eventually being buried in Connecticut. My ancestor, Hester Trott b. 1611, Austin Friars, London daughter of John Trott and Catherine Hills married Bernard Hyde in 1631 St Dunstan's, London. They had 10 children that I have found and she died in Jan 1649 and was buried on January 31, 1649 St Dunstan's in the East, London. Bernard died a few years later and mentions his "late wife Hester". So, you can see my confusion! There is another Hester Trott, born c. 1595, daughter of John Trott and Susanna Chester but her age does not tally with "my" Hester. Do you have any additional information on your Hester that could maybe shed some light? I do wish the people of the 1600’s were a bit more adventurous with names for their offspring!
