    • Offices Held: 1641, Plymouth, Plymouth County, Massachusetts; He was elected the Representative to the Plymouth Colony General Court. He served again in 1642, 1644, 1646, and 1649.
    • Offices Held: 1664; John Alden served twice as acting Governor of Plymouth Colony in the absence of the Governor.
    • Complier's Note: 2007; There is much confusion about the number and order of John Alden's children. I have chosen to use the number and order from the Great Migration Begins (1995). Some list a Zachariah as a child, but this has been disproved.
