According to the Selectman's minutes in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, on 5 March 1674/75, the Widow Locke asked "to live in the school house on the Great Island in order to the teaching of children to read and sew." After William's death, on 10 December 1716 Judith, at age 60, married (2) Nathaniel Huggins. She died on Friday 19 January 1753. Issue: 1. Elizabeth Berry (1686-____) 2.     Married:
    Locke (1979) states that William was the son of John and Susannah Locke, however that William would have been about 15 when married. Here Mr. Locke was in error.
