Robert (son of Roger II de Montgomery, Earl of Shrewsbury and Mabel Talvas de Alençon, Dame d'Alencon and Sees) was born in 1035; was christened about 1054 in St.Martin of Sées Abbey, Sées, Normandy, France; died on 8 May 1131 in Wareham Castle, Wareham, Dorsetshire, England; was buried in Wareham, Dorsetshire, England.
