  John Eddy, the son of Samuel and Elizabeth (Woodward) Eddy. After Marcy's death, on 18 June 1747 John married Patience Gould, the daughter of Samuel and Margaret (Stone) Gould, in Oxford, Worcester County, Massachusetts. John died in 1762 in Oxford, Worcester County, Massachusetts. He left a will on 1 January 1762 in Oxford, Worcester County, Massachusetts.
