Joseph Hill, the son of Ebenezer and Mary (White) Hill. He was born on 1 April 1701 in Sherborn, Middlesex County, Massachusetts. He lived near Bellingham, Massachusetts in Holliston where he ran a tavern on the old Hartford road and a blacksmith's shop. As of 1744, the residence of Joseph Hill was Holliston, Middlesex County, Massachusetts. He was elected a Selectman in 1744. He served again as in 1759. On 22 April 1757, he appears on the roster of Captain Samuel Bullard's training band. He died on Saturday 23 May 1767 in Holliston, Middlesex County, Massachusetts intestate.
