Elizabeth Savery Her last name was probably Savery, as Thomas Savery was refereed to as a brother-in-law by Samuel Eddy in a deed dated 20 February 1662. She was born about 1607 in England. She was "arraigned for wringing and hanging out her clothes on Lord's day, in time of publicke Exercise: fine 20s, but remitted." on 7 October 1651 in Plymouth, Plymouth County, Massachusetts. She was "summoned for travelling from Plymouth to Boston on Lord's day. She answered that Mrs. Saffin was very weak, and sent for her, with an earnest desire to see her in her weakness. The court thought they saw not a sufficient excuse, and saw cause to admonisher her, and so she was discharged" on 1 May 1660 in Plymouth, Plymouth County, Massachusetts. She died on Tuesday 24 May 1689 in Swansea, Bristol County, Massachusetts. She was buried after 24 May 1689 in Eddy Burial Ground, Swansea, Bristol County, Massachusetts.
