  • Name Florence
    Relationshipwith Robert Alan Roy
    History 1654  [1
She gossiped that the wife of John Parker was smitten with Richard Banks. She was taken to court for slander, and being on probation for a prior offense, was sentenced "to reeave tenn lashes on the bare skine" or pay £10. It appears that all she paid was 5/ as the officer's fee, and was let off. Possibly she was lashed, but if so, there is no record of the punishment having been carried out.
