He was sued twice by Joseph Davis for first earmarking a colt that Davis had purchased from John Billings, the for accusing Daviss of stealing the colt. The first suit was dismissed for lack of jurisdiction and Peter won the second. The next year, he was charged and confessed to assaulting Roger Townsend as he was returning home from church on Sunday. The last mention of him, was in 1665, when he was sued by Capt. Francis Raynes.
