Richard Coy. He was born about 1652 in England. Richard was a townsman of Salisbury in 1650. He may have come over with his brother, Matthew, in 1638, the former 13 years and the latter 15 years along with their sister, Mary, who was born about 1612. Richard was a servant of Mr. Whittingham, who brought him over from Boston, Lincoln, England. He was in Ipswich and Wenham in 1660. In 1673, he lived in Brookfield. He was killed by Indians during King Philip's War on Friday 2 August 1675 in Brookfield, Massachusetts.
