Sir Henry was summoned to parliament as the Baron Cheney of Toddington from 8 May 1572 to 15 October 1586. He was one of the peers at the trial of Mary, Queen of Scots. Sir Henry built a great mansion at Toddington, where he lived out his life. After his death, the barony became extinct. |
